So you now have a little bit of vocabulary and you’ve read the org’s website at www.burningman.com
So let’s get you connected to some other sources of information and misinformation and cultural indoctrination. First off a bit of a warning, the people you will meet on the playa are some of the most amazing people you will ever meet, however, online some of them are giant assholes, I am sure that descriptor has been lobbed my way as well from time to time. Snark is a component of the community and some snark is great but when you’re digging for answers or trying to find your way into the community it can be at the least challenging. Soooo, you’ve been warned and I’ll do my best to direct you to good information, but some of the best is found in snark infested waters and if you can’t figure out which is which, are you sure you want to spend a whole week with us?
The burning blog, the primary org sanctioned blog http://blog.burningman.com/
