Ridiculous pictures of Celine Dion blog and revolution

So apparently Celine Dion discovered a blog that posted ridiculous pictures of her.  Now these weren’t altered shots just shots the person pulled off the internet, concerning a worldwide celebrity and posted them with some comments.  So, although this is a fair use of Celine’s images, she sicked her very expensive lawyer on the poor blog author and forced the site to shot down.  NOT mind you because it was illegal but because Celine had the cash to make this a legal issue and the blog writer didn’t.

To me this is wholly contrary to the democratic aspects of the internet, the good, and bad, of the internet is that a 12-year-old kid in India can have his or her ideas broadcast across the world.  So I say we don’t take this sitting down, that we as blog writers fight back.  You see, one of the good and bad things of the internet is that nothing ever truly disappears and if you google ridiculous pictures of Celine in Google images, you get plenty.  So, in honor of Arlo Guthrie and the tradition of Alice’s Restaurant, let’s start a revolution.  Instead of walking in, singing a bar of Alice’s Restaurant and leaving, let’s all do a post just like this one and include a couple of Celine’s ridiculous pictures.

She can’t shut us all down for doing something legal and even the attempt would cost her many millions of dollars.  And by the way, isn’t there an attorney out there that could defend that site pro bono, I mean a reading of fair use laws in the opening statement and summary judgment or dismissal motion should be all it would take.  So, in honor of Arlo and the blog writer check out the photos below and a link about the article that also contains some ridiculous images of Celine:
