So I’m totally sick of every time I turn on the news over the last three days to hear the news. First, two days ago, BREAKING NEWS: ABOUT THE FIRST LADY’S FLIGHT! That’s right the first lady’s flight was improperly spaced with another flight so they asked the pilot’s to do a “go around.” In other words, hey, circle the airfield once and then land. One of CNN’s own experts has said, this is fairly common and not dangerous at all. Ok, SO SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT IT!!! It must be a really slow news cycle if this has gotten air time every hour for three days. Funny, when I was on flights that had an engine burn up, when we aborted a landing almost crashed and rolled off the runway, and when I’ve been on planes that have at the last-minute pulled up and done a go around, it didn’t even get mentioned. I guess news is only news in America if someone famous is involved, and CNN’s ratings are tanking, I don’t get it.
