A 21-year-old man from Idaho was arrested after a short little federal manhunt for trying to assassinate President Barack Obama. The attempt was made Friday night, the man, Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez fired two shots from a rifle at the White House, one hit a bullet-proof window and the other an exterior wall near the residential area of the White House.
Now although authorities would like to charge this young man with the attempted assassination attempt, they are instead forced to go with the more serious charge of rampant stupidity. You see the President Obama was actually in San Diego at the time of the shooting. How, might a murder minded young man know this, well, he could have turned on a freakin television or read any of the press for days before surrounding the college basketball game being played on the deck of a US Naval Aircraft Carrier that the president was attending.
